What Is Lotus Notes?
The details of exactly what is Lotus Notes is a question many ask yet few find it easy to answer. The reason for this is that Lotus Notes represents different capabilities to different individuals. - To-Do List, Task Management & Delegation
- Many additional features available in the areas of team collaboration such as integrated instant messaging, presence awareness, web conferencing, local document library, and collaborative applications such as shared discussion databases and team workspaces for sharing project information & work-in-process data.
Client/Server Software Architecture
- Lotus Notes is the client software which gets installed on a user's computer
- Lotus Domino is the server software which gets installed on a server computer.
